Customer Review: Blackmore Guitar God DVD what was new?
For any real fan of Ritchie Blackmore there were not many surprises in this package. The DVD does have some video from the MK1 version of Deep Purple that were interesting, but beyond that very little new information.
There are some old audio interviews with the guitar slinger and one faded video review. Most of the DVD is taken up with commentary by some former band mates and a music journalist. The Purple and Rainbow video clips are available elsewhere and virtually no mention of the Blackmore’s Night projects is found. The booklet is nicely done but rehashes the interviews on the dvd. The Pictures are professional but in total ,for this kind of money, I would pass on this package.
